Mrs. Sunjidmaa Jamba has extensive experience working in the resource industry, especially in areas of building and maintaining partnerships, stakeholder engagement and community development and sustainability. She worked as Manager for Corporate Affairs and Sustainability in multinational companies such as Anglo American and Peabody Energy.
Prior to joining the mining industry, Mrs. Jamba worked in development institutions such as the World Bank and InWEnt, a German international capacity building organization. As an External Affairs and Partnership Officer at the World Bank, she was responsible for external affairs of the Bank's operations and activities in Mongolia. She also managed the Governance Project and Community Initiative programs funded by the World Bank jointly with other international and Mongolian institutions. She has served as a Governing Committee Member of the Global Development Learning Network for Asia and Pacific. As head of InWEnt office in Mongolia, she managed a series of long- and short-term executive management programs in Mongolia and Germany.
She holds a Master of Science from Chemical Technology Institute in Prague, Czech Republic and completed an international executive program on International Marketing and Management in Hamburg, Germany. She also graduated from Fletcher School, Tufts University and holds a degree in Global Master of Arts.
